Due to the significant aging of the population in recent years, the number of disabled and chronically ill people among the old age people has increased. At the same time, significant efforts and resources are spent on the treatment and maintenance of disabled members of society. Therefore, the study of the aging process and the clinical picture of the most typical diseases of the nervous system for the elderly, as well as increasing the effectiveness of rehabilitation care, acquires not only medical but also important socio-economic significance. Involutional memory impairment and impairment of other higher brain functions are observed at the age of over 60 years, without significantly complicating the everyday and professional activities of the elderly person. The possibilities of drug therapy in old age are limited due to the presence of concomitant diseases. In this regard, the development of non-drug methods of prevention and treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders in the elderly is of particular importance. The aim of the study was to develop differentiated programs for the correction of cognitive impairment in elderly patients with cerebrovascular insufficiency.
