Abstract

The combined influence of clinical as well as morphological factors is what determines the level of survival of patients with breast carcinoma. Like many other cancers, breast carcinoma has a high prevalence and has been ranking as one of the most dangerous forms of cancer. The integration of clinical data and histopathological characteristics was the primary focus of this study. It was intended to discover key predictors of overall survival in patients who have been diagnosed with breast carcinomas. This paper sets out to carry out a retrospective case study, on a cohort of patients with breast cancer, taking into account tumor size, histo- pathological grading, lymph node involvement, hormone receptor status and demographics. As per the findings, the tumor related variables like size, lymph node involvement and histological grade were significantly associated with the lower survival chances. In the contrary, the neo- adjuvant hormone receptor positive status showed a positive relationship with prognosis. Moreover, some morphological factors such as tumor necrosis and stromal invasion also emerged as independent predictors of survival. The findings underscore the essence of combining clinical and morphological features in the prediction of clinical outcomes and design of individualized therapies. By identifying these prognostic markers, this research contributes important concepts which will assist in understanding the actual biology of breast cancer more accurately. Furthermore, it offers crucial data which could inform strategies to improve the patient care process including and survival rates.
